A Somali journalist was killed in a car bombing in the capital Mogadishu colleagues KNN reports on Monday.
Mohamed Ibrahim Gabow confirmed dead after a bomb believed to be fixed inside a car he was driven exploded killing him alone in Mogadishu’s Wadajir district on Monday eveving, said his colleague Osman Abdullahi Guure
The journalist who recently returned the country after has finished his master degree at a university in Uganda has been working for Mogadishu-based privately owned Kalsan TV.
“This is really a shocking and bad news for the media community in the country and the victim’s family and friends,”said Guure.
No group claimed responsbility of the assassination. But Al-Shabaab group is the main suspect of targeting journalists, aid workers and government workers
