Mogadishu-KNN-Heavy armed fighters of Al-shabaab attacked army convoy in Lower shabeele region, a site near Afgoye town which is 30 KM southwest of Mogadishi on Friday Afternoon.
Lower Shabeele region officials told KNN that Al-shabaab targed African Union and Somali millitary convoy with an improvised explosive devices and burned two millitry vihecles.
Witneses told Radio kulmiye that Al-shabaab took a military vehicle, but military Officials denied.
There is no detailes about casualties of troops but Al-Shabab claims that they have killed at least 10 soldiers of both African Union troops and Somali national army.
