Bulo Marer-KNN- The militant group of Al-shabaab stormed with explosives and heavy attack to AMISOM base in lower Shabele, KNN reports.
Regional administration officials told Radio Kulmiye that Al-shabaab used two cars attached with explosives and then armed malatia stormed the AMISOM base in Bulo Marer village near Barawe district.
The fighting takes more than an hour, reports said that Al-shabaab tried to capture the town, but AMISOM troops successfully defended the town.
Both sides have casualties, but the is no clear number of dead or injured.
Al-shabaab claims the responsibility of the attack on their news website and said to have killed 60 soldiers belongs to AMISOM.
There is no independent source that can confirm the exact number of casualties.
