Mogadishu-KNN-Al-shabab, the terrorist group in Somalia claims the responsibility of car bomb attack which yesterday occurred in Mogadishu, Somalia’s capital city.
The car bomb caused the death of ICRC staff called Abdulhafid Yusuf Ibrahim and injured two, Al-shabaab identified him as parliamentary staff, according to their news website, Calamada.com.
But ICRC office in Somalia issued condolence latter saying that Abdihafid Ibrahim was joined them five months ago.
“We are devastated by the loss of Abdulhafid, who was a valued member of our team in Somalia,” said Simon Brooks, ICRC’s head of delegation for Somalia.
“We extend our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones during this very difficult time” he added.
In Somalia, the staff of international agencies and foreign governments are target and they are vulnerable for attacks from Al-shabaab.
