Regional president of the Galmudug administration in Central Somalia has been fired for violating the country’s foreign policy regarding the gulf crisis, KNN reports on Wednesday.
Ahmed Duale Gelle Haaf has lost vote of confidance in the regional parliament of the Galmudug where 55 members voted to fire Mr. Haaf.
The crisis emerged early this week when Haaf sided with Saudi Arabia-led coalition to cut ties with Qatar.
So far, Somalia remains with a neutral position on the gulf crisis.
