Kenyan troops accused for raping Somali girls at border town

Mogadishu-KNN-At list five Somali girls have been raped by Kenya military troops at the border between Somalia and Kenya on Tuesday, a father of one of the girls told Radio kulmiye.

The age of the girls is between 15 and 25, they have been raped by at least 10 Kenyan soldiers at south of Madera town, according to the girls.

“Under a tree, one place have convened them, some of the soldiers were raping the girls while others guarding” the father said.

The father told Radio kulmiye that the girls were going to Mandera town, but soldiers intercepted them and forced them rape. The case of the rape have confirmed by doctors of hospital in Mandera.

The administrations of Balad Hawo town, Somalia and Mandera town, Kenya have met on the rape case and investigation about the incident are going on as father told KNN.

“Four of the girls were found and one is still missing” he added.

The is no comment from the Somali or Kenyan authorities about the rape, also Kenyan military have not say this case yet.
