Mogadishu-KNN-At least 10 people were killed and dozens wounded after explosion hits busy market in Wanla-weyn district of Lower Shabele region.
The blast was targeted to civilians, regional officials told RadioKulmiye.
Most of the dead was woman selling Miraa in Wanla-weyn district, were government controls.
Deputy governor of Lower Shabele region Abdi Fitah Haji Abdulle speaking to Radio Kulmiye said that suicide bomber vesting explosives targeted busy market.
The Jihadist group in Somalia Al-shabaab claims the responsibility of the attack.
Al-shabaab linked news website Clamada reported that the explosion were targeted to government soldiers, killing four and two others wounded.
