Mogadishu-KNN-Jubbaland security minister Abdirashid Hassan Abdinor Janan has escaped from a detention center in Mogadishu, Somali Police confirmed on Tuesday.
Deputy Police Commissioner Zakia Hussein twitted that the police is currently seeking him. The police requests the public to inform any information.

Abdirashid Janan was arrested by the Somali police on August 31 last year in Mogadishu while he was traveling to Addis Ababa. The humanitarian agencies welcomed his arrested and called to bring him in front of the justice.
The police accused Abdirashid Janan that he committed crimes against humanitarian law and pledged that the justice will serve to the victims.
Jubbaland administration had publicly protested against the arrest of its minister and blamed the federal government for hunting State officials.
