Hargeisa-KNN-At least 22 schools were collapsed during heavy rains and storms with powerful winds hits in Somaliland regions of Sahil, Awdal and Salal regions, radio kulmiye reports.
Hundreds of students did not go their schools this week, as their education halted.
Somaliland says healthy centers and schools are most ones met with large destruction, and calls help for rebuilding.
The most storm affected areas in Somaliland are Lughaya, Garara, Gerisa, Bulahar, El-sheikh, Baki, and others, the residents of these areas are victims of the tropical rains and Sagar storm.
At least 40 of these residents were killed by rains and dozens are missing while others injured.
80 percent of the livestock also dead, humanitarian efforts are ongoing.
