Mogadhu-KNN-Somali Prime minister Hassan Ali Khayre is expected to visit United Arab Emirates for the flowing weeks and to meet with UAE leaders.
Reports said that Khayre’s trip to Emirates is intended to create better relation between Somalia and UAE after months of disputes between the two countries started from as UAE deals with Somaliland as a sovereign Nation.
Somalia and UAE relations worsened on 8 April, when Somalia seized bugs with millions of cash with Emirati plane from Dubai.
UAE stopped programmes for helping Somali government and training Somali military.
Ethiopian Prime minister Abiy Ahmed is mediating between Somali and Emirati officials those have planned to meet tos discuss creation of better relations.
UAE and Ethiopia is an ally, both have shares on Berbera investment firm. cooperating with Somaliland breakaway, the two agreed to investment Berbera port together and share revenue from the port.
Federal government of Somalia refused the legitimacy of any agreement between Somaliland, Ethiopia and UAE.
According to confidential source, diplomats of the two countries is planned to meet firstly and then face-to-face negotiations between leaders of the countries.
