Mogadishu-KNN- Three day conference of constitutional review starts in Mogadishu in which hundreds of Somali delegates attended its opening ceremony.
Delegates of conference came from federal government and member states, except Jubbaland administration which already boycotted taking part of the national conference of constitutional review.
Speaker of the Somali lower house parliament opened the conference. Mohamed Mursal said that increasing efforts of constitutional review is necessary, because Somalia is preparing to hold one man one vote election in 2020.
High level officials of federal government including Prime Minister Hassan Ali khayre, Speaker of the senate house Abdi Hashi Abdullahi and minister of constitution affairs have submitted to their remarks in the conference.
International partners helping Somali government are interesting the immediate review of Somali constitution.
President Mohamed Abdullahi farmajo pledged to end the review of Somali constitution in 2019.
