The leadership of Ahlusunna accused many times that the federal government is doing inappropriate task in the process of rebuilding Galmudug State.
Sheekh Mohamed Shaakir Ali Hassan, Head of Galmudug cabinet told VOA Somali that Ahlusunna leadership want to contribute building administration with full representative to all communities in the region. But he blamed federal government for misleading the process.
Sheekh Shakir said in the interview that Ahlusuna is seeking to hold the major posts of administration.
“We want to be part of leadership, we want to secure the region as we have been securing, our value is to defend the society,” Sheekh Shaakir told VOA.
Galmudug is currently facing political turmoil which is between federal governments, presidential candidates and President Ahmed Du’ale Gele Haf who is now building a separate state in Galkayo, Mudug town.
Ahlusunna is one of the major parts involving rebuilding of the State and there was agreements between the group and the federal government. The group has 20 MPs in the new parliament.
