Baladweyne-KNN-Somali national army and AMISOM troops are starting an operation against Al-shabaab in Hiran region of Hirshabele administration, military officials told Radio kulmiye.
Al- shabaab has strong persistence in Hiran region and blocked main roads of the region.
The Ethiopian and Djibouti troops of AMISOM are taking part the operation, as the SNA leading new measures of intensifying the war against Al-shabaab.
Gen. Salah Mumin Muse told Radio Kulmiye that this operation is tended to recapture the villages controlled by Al-shabaab for years.
Bo’o village is main target of SNA where Al-shabaab controls and their court operates, Gen. Salah told Radio Kulmiye.
