Somalia: Candidates to address for parliament session

Mogadishu-KNN- candidates running for lower house parliament speaker is due to address for the parliament session as scheduled before.

The last two days, parliamentary election committee have been registering the candidates, MP Nur Idow Beyleh, chairman of the election committee told media that candidates will convey their plans.

Listening candidates’ speeches will go on two days starting on Wednesday.

Somalia’s lower house parliament also known as house of the people will elect speaker on Monday April 30, according to the election schedule.

Professor Mohamed Osman jawari, who was leading the house for the last five years resigned on 12 April after political struggle between Jawari and Prime Minister Khayre.
