Regional Security forces of Jubaland, Somalia arrested one of the local Jubbaland MPs a day after he lost immunity.
Ahmed Tajir proposed motion against Jubaland president Ahmed Madoobe, KNN reports on Wednesday.
Reports says some of his bodyguards were also arrested.
Hundrends of local forces have been deployed in many parts of the city and operations aimed at pre-empting any imminent protest against his detention.
Jubbaland parliament approved a request to strip off the immunity from Hassan after he was accused of political crisis within that regional state, on Monday.
