Somalia inaugruates new members of parliament, amid fears in delays on presidential election.

To keep the process on truck, members of Somalia’s newly formed both houses of lower house and upper house who were just innuagurated Tuesday in Mogadishu have chosen acting speakers, KNN reports.

The lower house members selected their oldest person that is Osman Elmi Boqore while the upper house selected their oldest person that is Mohamed Hussien Rage. So far, up to 280 new members from the both houses have been inaugurated.
Both men will serve as interim leadership for both houses respectively until a new speakers are elected.
In the meantime an electoral official  said that the presidential election maybe delayed for a fourth time amid allegations of fraud and intimidation.

The Horn of Africa nation is riven by clan rivalries and threatened by al-Shabab Islamic extremists opposed to Western-style democracy.
